Located in Southern California, the whale watching capital of the world, Dana Point, California is seeking a sister city partnership. With a population size of around 33,000 people, the city of Dana Point has so much to offer from Dana Point Harbor with sport fishing, whale watching and water sports to Doheny State Beach, Salt Creek Beach/Park, Waterman’s Plaza, and a Whale Heritage Site. The city of Dana Point wants to create a city partnership with another seaside community with strong sports, music and arts to benefit their growing education community, create global travel opportunities, as well as business and economic opportunities and to hopefully host an annual festival with their future sister city.
